Conscience Enforcement Authority

The Conscience Enforcement Authority (more commonly known as the CEA) is the agency that Seraphim and Boo work for. Their agents serve as consciences to their clients. Their counterpart is known as the organization or, as Seraphim calls it, the other agency.

We know one other CEA operative by name, Marcus.

Unlike more traditional consciences that serve only to push one side of a moral agenda, agents from the CEA are more general advisors. Agents must help their clients balance good and evil without being dedicated advocates toward one side or another.

Conscience Enforcement Agency is a common misnaming, probably because of the parallel between 'CEA' and 'CIA'.
