The title rickb00ted of strip 1262 and the song in the first panel are references to the 1987 Rick Astley song "Never Gonna Give You Up" which is used for Rickrolling (baiting internet users to click on links that lead to the song, e.g. on YouTube).

The area depicted in the map is a part of Tokyo, focused on the Harajuku district of the Shibuya ward where the Cave of Evil is located (most of the blackout zone belongs to Harajuku). On the left side is Yoyogi Park with part of the Meiji Shrine.
